Creamy Pesto Dressing Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 1 cup (packed) fresh basil leaves
  • 1 7-ounce can of mild green chiles (get in the Mexican food section- make sure mild)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup water

    • Instructions:
    1. Puree all ingredients in a food processor. (This is great pesto sauce which tastes fabulous over pasta.)

    2. Combine 1 cup Veganaise (healthy version of mayo found in cold case at Down To Earth) 4 TBS of pesto sauce (above)

    3. Mix well. Use as a dip, or sandwich spread.
