Ingredients:
1/2 cup pine nuts
1 cup (packed) fresh basil leaves
1 7-ounce can of mild green chiles (get in the Mexican food section- make sure mild)
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup water
Instructions:
- Puree all ingredients in a food processor. (This is great pesto sauce which tastes fabulous over pasta.)
- Combine 1 cup Veganaise (healthy version of mayo found in cold case at Down To Earth) 4 TBS of pesto sauce (above)
- Mix well. Use as a dip, or sandwich spread.
