Hummus is a tasty dip and these three colorful versions would be great for a party. You can serve this with pieces of warm Pita bread, or chopped vegetables.

I used 3, 15 ounce cans of garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained and divided into 3 equal portions to make the 3 different batches.

Plain Hummus
  • 1 cup garbanzo beans
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 TBS lemon juice
  • 3 TBS tahini
  • 1/ 4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Blend in a food processor until smooth.

    Red Hummus
Same as above, but add 1/3 cup roasted red bell peppers.

    Green Hummus
Make same as plain hummus, then add 1/ 3 fresh cilantro.
