This recipe was originally for regular asparagus, but I found delicious Sea Asparagus at Down To Earth. Try this great vegetable.
Ingredients: 1 package Sea Asparagus (about 2 cups) 1 large vine ripe tomato 3 TBS tamari or soy 3 TBS rice vinegar 1 1/2 TBS vegetable oil 1 clove garlic minced 1 tsp minced ginger 1-2 TBS sugar pinch of chili paste (to taste) 1 TBS toasted sesame seedsDirections: - Place sea asparagus in a pot of salted boiling water for about 1-2 minutes. Remove, drain and place in ice water.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, oil, garlic, ginger, sugar, and chili paste.
- Dice the tomato and combine with the drained sea asparagus in a bowl. Add dressing and toss. Top with sesame seeds.
