This great sandwich is a new item at the Deli at Down To Earth. You can get it there made hot and fresh.
Ingredients:
2 slices rye bread
2 TBS mustard
2 TBS veganaise
4 slices Yves veggie salami
1 slice vegan cheese
1 tsp white sesame seeds
4 slices of pickle
1 leaf lettuce
2 slices tomato
Instructions:
- Toast the bread, then somewhat crispy take the bread and spread mustard. Next salami, sauerkraut, then a slice of cheese.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and place in over broiler or toaster oven to melt cheese.
- Spread veganaise on other slice of bread, add pickles, tomato and lettuce.
- When cheese is melted put two halves together, slice diagonally and serve with chips and salsa.
