Reuben Sandwich

This great sandwich is a new item at the Deli at Down To Earth. You can get it there made hot and fresh.

Ingredients:
  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 2 TBS mustard
  • 2 TBS veganaise
  • 4 slices Yves veggie salami
  • 1 slice vegan cheese
  • 1 tsp white sesame seeds
  • 4 slices of pickle
  • 1 leaf lettuce
  • 2 slices tomato
  • Instructions:
    1. Toast the bread, then somewhat crispy take the bread and spread mustard. Next salami, sauerkraut, then a slice of cheese.
    2. Sprinkle sesame seeds and place in over broiler or toaster oven to melt cheese.
    3. Spread veganaise on other slice of bread, add pickles, tomato and lettuce.
    4. When cheese is melted put two halves together, slice diagonally and serve with chips and salsa.
