Broccoli Stir Fry
It's the Chinese style sauce that makes this taste great.Ingredients: 1/2 head broccoli, cut into florets with stems trimmed 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced julienne 1/4 cup toasted almond slices Peanut oil for frying Sauce: 2 TBS vegetarian oyster sauce 2 TBS soy sauce 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp sesame oil 3/4 cup vegetable broth 1/4 tsp white pepper Directions: mix 1 TBS cornstarch 1-2 TBS water for thickening at the end Stir fry the broccoli in oil in a hot wok for several minutes. Add the red bell pepper. Add the sauce, heat thru and continue cooking until broccoli in tender. Add cornstarch mix to thicken. Top with almond slices.
