Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients:
  • Firm Tofu 1 block, sliced
  • Fungus (Mu Er) 2 pieces, sliced
  • Chinese mushroom 3 pieces, sliced
  • (sliced) Bamboo shoots a few pieces
  • Carrot ¼ of one, shredded
  • Preserved vegetable (optional) 1 tbsp sliced
  • Soy sauce 2 tsp
  • Dark vinegar 2 tsp
  • Sesame oil 1 tsp
  • Corn starch 1 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Ingredients:
    1. Fry mushroom slices in hot oil.
    2. Add some water to the pot and let it boil.
    3. Add all ingredients to the pot.
    4. When the water boils, mix cornstarch with a little bit water and slowly add to the soup.
    5. Stir the soup to mix well.
    6. Put black pepper and sesame oil in a large soup bowl. Pour the soup into the bowl.
    7. Add Chinese parsley to garnish.
