Tofu Salad

Ingredients:
  • Tofu, 1 block
  • Ginger, 5 slices cut into shreds
  • Salt, 1 tsp
  • Soy Sauce, 2-3 tsp
  • Sesame oil, 2 tsp
  • Maple syrup, 1 tsp
  • Instructions:
    1. Put tofu in boiling water for half a minute. Let cool.
    2. Rub ginger shreds with salt for 3 minutes. Wash off the salt with cold water.
    3. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil and maple syrup in a bowl.
    4. Cut tofu block in half and cut each half into four pieces. Place ginger shreds on top of the tofu. Pour mixture over the top. Add parsley to garnish.
    5. Chill tofu in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Serves 2 people.
