Maple Raisin Oatmeal For Breakfast

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup rolled oats (you can buy these cheap at the bulk food bins at Down To Earth)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup plain soy milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • Instructions:
    Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes until thick and creamy.
