Chinese Choy Sum

This is a delicious Chinese side dish that goes great with rice or over noodles.Ingredients: 1 large bunch choy sum, washed, drained and cut into 3 inch pieces 2 TBS peanut oil Sauce Ingredients: 1 TBS light soy sauce 1 TBS sugar 1 TBS veggie oyster sauce 1 tsp rice vinegar chili paste to taste (about 1/ 4 tsp if you can't handle spicy) 1 TBS ketchup 1 tsp black bean sauce 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup water or broth Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and blend well in a bowl. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a wok. Add choy sum and cook, stirring often until it begins to wilt and soften - about 2 minutes.
Add the sauce and mix well. Add some of the water/cornstarch mixture to thicken as it comes to a boil.
To thicken sauce:
2 TBS corn starch
2 TBS cold water
mix in a bowl and set aside.Serve and enjoy.
