Best Vegan Macaroni and 'Cheese'

Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cups plain unflavored soymilk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 ½ cup nutritional yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1tsp paprika
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • ¼ block firm tofu
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1½ lbs pasta of your choice (ziti is good)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Instructions:
    1. Pre-heat over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
    2. Boil pasta in large pot of water
    3. All the ingredients sans pasta go in a blender
    4. Drain cooked pasta and put it in a large baking pan
    5. Pour the 'cheese' sauce from the blender over the pasta and cover with foil
    6. Bake until the top of the pasta looks slightly browned and crispy (approx. 20 minutes)
