HONOLULU -- The Hawaii Superferry will be opened for the public to preview the new ship in a tour on July 14.
Anyone interested in going aboard the Alakai has to register through one of several Honolulu radio station Web sites.
The tours will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Superferry is docked at the Honolulu Ferry Terminal at Pier 19.
The registration is required because of harbor security, according to a written statement for the company.
