For 36 years now Kamehemeha Bakery has been frying, baking and sugaring pastries on North School Street. But today was their last day in that kitchen -- they're moving to a new location. All new at 6-- KITV 4's Ashley Moser has more on where you can find them this Friday. 24 55-QUICK! 57 103 7:47 NAT SIZZLE FROM DOUGHNUTS Follow that sound and the smell of freshly baked goods in the morning -- and you'll find Kamehameha Bakery. 15:35 "I'LL HAVE THE POI" This hole in the wall is filled every day with the customers satisfying their sweet tooth, choosing from 36 kinds of pastries. Owner Geramie Paglinawan says the success of this family- owned bakery comes from pure dedication. Geramie 16:45 "MY HUSBAND ALWAYS SAID HE WAS BORN TO WORK AND I TOLD HIM, I WAS BORN TO SLEEP HAHA!" 16:51 Since they opened in 1978 -- sleep comes at odd hours. That's because she and her husband open up at 2 am -- 7 days a week here on north school street. But their landlord's selling the building, so starting Friday, they'll be selling goodies near City Square on Kalani Street. THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL FROM 1959. 340 DEGREES EVERYDAY. Ashley Moser -- KITV 4 News. Bakery owners say the popularity of their taro doughnuts have hit Japan and by the end of this year they plan to sell a franchise to a Japanese investor.
