Hawaiian Host, Inc. has unveiled its newest product -- Coconut Caramacs.
The new flavor is an addition to the Caramacs product line joining the original Maui Caramacs and the Kona Caramacs made with real Kona Coffee.
Coconut CaramacS feature coconut-infused handmade caramel, mixed with dry roasted macadamias and covered in milk chocolate, then sprinkled with toasted coconut flakes.
"Hawaiian Host is excited to introduce this new flavor that is the perfect addition to the Caramacs family," said Hawaiian Host, Inc. President & CEO Keith Sakamoto. "The coconut-infused handmade caramel matches perfectly with the dry roasted macadamias and milk chocolate and is exclusive to our product line. It's another must-have item that creates one more way to enjoy the great taste of Hawai'i and share it with family and friends."
The original Maui Caramacs featuring dry roasted macadamias mixed with soft, handmade caramel was added to the Hawaiian Host product line in 1987 and was so popular that a second flavor, the Kona Caramacs was added in 2007 to capture one of the flavors most commonly associated with Hawai'i. It uses 100 percent real Kona Coffee in the creation of its handmade caramel, macadamia mixture.
The entire Caramacs line has also received a new look to its packaging that aligns with the most recently redesigned AlohaMacs product line. Each Caramacs box features a Hawai'i skyline during a sunset that shows off the state's radiant colors and beauty.
