HONOLULU -- The music band U2 postponed its April 8 concert at the Aloha Stadium.

The announcement came on Wednesday from the promoters of U2's current Vertigo tour.

A family member of someone in the band is ill, according to a press statement.

Ticket holders are advised to hold on to their tickets in anticipation of a new date.

Concerts in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Hawaii are affected by the postponement.
