MB: What or who inspired your novel?

JS: I've always been fascinated by women who appear to have it all together. Because my life is never smooth (laugh), I really wanted to write a story with a heroine who thinks she has it all going on, but it¹s really just a façade, and beneath, her life is just as crazy as everyone else's.

MB: What do you like most about your novel?

JS: That it's done. I love writing, it's a passion, it's a way of life, but I'm always relieved to type: The end.

MB: Who is the most heroic person you know?

JS: Like the hero in this book, I want to say teachers in general. They work hard every single day for little monetary reward, molding the kids, the next generation.

MB: Who's your romance hero: dark brooding bad boy or white knight in shining armor?

JS: Oooh, I do love both. I like to mix it up! This time, in "Her Sexiest Mistake," it's definitely a complete combination.

MB: Answer the question you wish an interviewer would ask.

JS: And oh, boy. I couldn't think of a question that was appropriate, LOL. I guess what I really wanted to somehow ask is: What's next for you? Answer -- I'm just waiting to be snagged up by the right publisher … But I figured that was a tad bit inappropriate and rude.
