Actor Josh Holloway, who stars in the ABC TV series "Lost," was robbed at gunpoint in his Hawaii Kai home Wednesday.

Holloway and his wife were asleep when an armed man confronted them inside their home at about 4 a.m., according to police.

The suspect demanded money and got away in the couple's vehicle. It was later found abandoned.

Holloway purchased the Hawaii Kai home earlier this year. He talked with KITV recently about owning a home in Hawaii. He said he loved it, but that renovating the house was challenging.

One neighbor said there have been few burglaries in that area during the 15 years he has lived there.

Police are looking for the suspect.

Holloway plays the character "Sawyer" in the ABC hit TV series.
