HONOLULU -- Singer songwriter Elton John and musician Ray Cooper have scheduled a concert for Honolulu on Jan. 6.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com and at the Neal Blaisdell box office.

The concert will be at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena.

"This is Elton's first appearance in nine years in Honolulu since selling out two shows at the Blaisdell Arena. We are thrilled to host his return engagement," Blaisdell Events and Services Manager John Fuhrmann said in a written statement.

Cooper toured with John in the 1970s. The Honolulu concert will be the duo's first stop on their tour in the United States.

Tickets are priced at $67, $97, and $157.
