Listen up!

Class is in session.

Total Nonstop Action wrestling was back in the pay-per-view ring with "Victory Road" this past Sunday night. The main event involved champ Kurt Angle taking on Mick "Dude Love Mankind Cactus Jack" Foley. Don't worry, you're not stuck in a 1999 WWE time warp. TNA hires (and promotes) a lot of names from yesteryear. Don't believe me? Check out the rest of the card:

Challenge Match: Sharmell vs. Jenna Morasca
What Should Happen: Sharmell is Booker T's wife. Morasca is a former "Survivor" contestant who got in the 'rassling business. Why have her on the big show if she's not going to survive at least one meaningless women's match?

What Will Happen: Jenna will be the winna.

Question To Ponder: I don't want to sound like a total clueless dweeb, but who in God's name is Jenna Morasca?

What Did Happen: After a painful five minutes, Jenna won it. A legendary stinker.

Challenge Match: Matt Morgan vs. Daniels
What Should Happen: Morgan is pining to be made part of Angle's "Main Event Mafia." I get the feeling if he puts away Daniels here, he'll get the gig. Not going to happen, nor should it. Daniels, the former X-Division juggernaut, is his superior in every way.

What Will Happen: Morgan will be frustrated by Daniels, and lose.

Question To Ponder: Why can't TNA bill Daniels as Christopher Daniels like they used to? Daniels sounds dumb.

What Did Happen: Morgan pinned Daniels.

TNA Tag Team Championship Match: Robert Roode and James Storm (c) vs. Booker T and Scott Steiner
What Should Happen: It's the Mafia bad guys versus the Beer Money good guys (for now). I'd resist giving the gold to the Steiner and T, but I don't think TNA can.

What Will Happen: Booker and Big Poppa Pump get the win.

Question To Ponder: Do you think Steiner's muscles are real? Hey, had to ask.

What Did Happen: Booker and Steiner got the pin. They're the new TNA tag champs.

Legends Championship Match: A.J. Styles (c) vs. Kevin Nash
What Should Happen: Here we have contrasting styles. On one hand, you have Kevin Nash, who just can't do a dang thing in the ring anymore. On the other hand, you have Styles, who is probably one of the best young grapplers on the planet. Since the Legends title is for has-beens, hand it over to Nash, Styles. You can do better.

What Will Happen: Nash will get this piece of worthless gold.

Question To Ponder: Do you ever get the impression Nash has shirts that are older than Styles?

What Did Happen: Nash got the pin, winning the Legends title.

Challenge Match: Sting vs. Samoa Joe
What Should Happen: What a difference a month makes. Joe is a full-fledged heel and Sting is the biggest babyface in TNA. That's probably how it should be anyway. Here, I'd like an old-fashioned beatdown of the old guy, Sting. The new monster – Joe – shouldn't lose his first big match.

What Will Happen: Samoa Joe will get the pin.

Question To Ponder: If Sting hit Joe in the gut with his baseball bat, would Joe feel it?

What Did Happen: Joe pinned Sting after his "adviser" Taz walked to the ring.

TNA World Championship Match: Kurt Angle (c) vs. Mick Foley
What Should Happen: To quote "A Rocky Horor Picture Show": Let's do the time warp again! Yep, this matchup is out of yesteryear, and oddly enough both men are in about the same shape. That means lard-o Foley should not have a chance to win this one no matter what hardcore trick he pulls out of his flannel shirt and/or sweatpants.

What Will Happen: Angle wins in the lock of the night.

Question To Ponder: Why is Mick Foley still wrestling?

What Did Happen: Angle pinned Foley to retain his belt.

That'll do it. For the night, I had five right and just one wrong -- once again proving I am a genius when it comes to predicting staged sporting events. I rule!

That's it!!

Class is -- dismissed!!!
