The Hawaii crew working on the ABC hit TV series "Lost" is going back to work now that the Hollywood writers' strike is over.

When Hollywood writers went on strike it stopped the production of "Lost." People working on the show had three months off, whether they wanted it or not.

Adam House does electrical rigging for the sets. With the forced time off, he worked around his house.

"It was a great time for me to catch up with things around the house. Hey, my kids know who I am again, but it's going to be nice to get back to work, finish up season 4. You know, the paycheck is not too bad," House said.

Location managers were back out scouting locations on Monday. Production members have been told to report to work next week. They need to get sets and equipment ready, and the filming will start up again in mid-March.

"You know what? I can't wait for it to get back. I used to surf all the time. I love work so much I feel like I'm missing something. Now it's coming back, I can't wait," grip man Lance Hookano said.

"Lost" brings a lot of money and jobs to Hawaii and the film industry has felt its absence.
