The legendary rock band Aerosmith canceled a concert at the War Memorial on Maui scheduled for next Wednesday.

An official press release from Aerosmith management is expected to explain the cancellation and outline the refund policy, Tom Moffat Productions said.

The Maui event had been sold out.

Aerosmith postponed its Sept. 10 concert in Chicago until Sept. 24 due to illness, according to the band's Web site.

There has been no word on the status of Aerosmith's appearance at the Toyota dealers convention at University of Hawaii at Manoa the following Saturday. Toyota paid $500,000 to reserve the athletic complex for the private event.
