The Rolling Stones on Tuesday announced that they have canceled their Honolulu concert that was scheduled for this month.

The band's Web site said that singer Mick Jagger needs time off to heal from throat problems.

"The Rolling Stones have been advised to take four days off from their A Bigger Bang world tour in order for singer Mick Jagger to properly recover from recent throat problems," the Web site stated.

The time off forced the band to reschedule some of its shows. However, the Honolulu concert was not rescheduled.

Ticketmaster, one of the companies that sold the tickets, said concertgoers should get refunds from the location they purchased the tickets. A representative from Aloha Stadium, where the concert was scheduled to be performed at, said the money would be refunded to the ticket companies after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

Patrick Leonard of the Aloha Stadium said that ticket holders will not get back a processing fee they paid at walk-in Ticketmaster locations and Aloha Stadium. However, he said people who ordered online or over the phone would receive their fee refunded.

The last time the Stones played in Hawaii was January 1998.
