KITV4 would like to introduce you to our in-house expert on "The Bachelorette," Lauren Wang. During the day, she works in our sales department, but on the nights when "The Bachelorette" is airing, she is glued to the television set. She will keep you up-to-date with the show and give you some inside scoops on what is happening with the Bachelorette herself, Emily Maynard.
Conference call with Sean Lowe - 7/12/2012
Poor Sean was completed blindsided by his elimination last Monday. We all saw how heart broken he was, BUT good news guys and gals, Sean is trying to move on with his life.
Sean said that looking back he realizes that Emily is NOT the one for him (Sean even said that he wouldn’t give her a second chance)!
Watching Emily’s relationships with Arie and Jef helped him get over her. He was a bit surprised and shocked that she was so close to both of them, but ultimately he can see now that she did have strong connections with both guys.
This was Sean’s first experience with heart break (awwww, we love you Sean)! But he has been able to get through it with the love and support of his family (that is just too sweet).
Even though Sean didn’t say I love you as soon as Jef and Arie, he believes that Emily knew all along how he felt and he doesn’t think that was a factor in why she sent him home.
During his time on the show he wanted to pretend like it was just him and Emily. He wanted to cherish and value his relationship with her (he never talked about their dates or his feelings for her with the guys). He has no questions for Emily at this time and wishes nothing but the best for her.
But he did say he wants Emily to know his feelings were real and he did open himself up to her. Emily had doubts and Sean said multiple times on this call that the person he will spend his life with will have no doubts (omg, seriously? What guy says that?).
Sean was closest to John Wolfe, Doug, Alejandro and actually Ryan (what?! I can’t wait to see them all reunited at The Men Tall All). He didn’t think he would make friendships with these guys but he did. On their spare time, they mostly cracked jokes, wrestled, threw the football…they were just guys being guys.
He said that both Jef and Arie are fun, easygoing people and he can see why Emily has feelings for them (according to Sean, they are both ready to be a husband and father, that’s good to hear)! He wouldn’t say which one he thinks Emily will end up with though…BOO, I know.
Sean really does believe in this process and he knows that it works (he initially went on the show for the experience but really did fall in love). BUT he’s not sure that he would be the next bachelor…he’d really have to think about it. Being on the show was emotionally draining and he doesn’t know if he could go through something like that again.
His experience on the show made him realize that he does want to spend his life with that ONE person (Sean, you don’t know it yet, but it’s ME, haha).
On a side note, Sean had the prank planned that he lived at home for a week, and he said that it was so hard to hear people calling him a “loser” (hahaha). He wanted so badly to say something but he didn’t. Sean definitely pulled off one of the biggest pranks in Bachelorette history!
Sean is happy living his normal, everyday life and he said he has already met a lot of ex bachelor contestants…is he hinting he is dating an ex contestant?
I know this won’t be the last we see of Sean. So what do you guys think, should Sean be the next Bachelor? Would he make a better bachelor than the rumored Roberto? Let me know your thoughts at #bachelorettehi! XOXO~Lauren
Week 9 Recap - 7/10/2012
Last night, Emily made the toughest decision all season. She had to narrow her three guys to just two! Sean, Jef and Arie have all fallen hard for Emily. Who did she decide to let go? Read on to find out.
Sean got the first date with Emily. I felt like she kept wanting more from him the whole time. He has been the most reserved out of the three remaining guys. He hasn’t opened up to her like Jef and Arie have. I think Emily definitely saw that as an issue.
Emily really did appreciate Sean writing that letter to Ricki (super, sweet). I think for Sean that was him opening up to her and putting down his walls. I even think the letter signified his feelings even more than telling Emily he loves her. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, she was still questioning why he waited all this time to open up to her.
Jef and Emily sitting in tree… you guys can fill in the rest. They just get each other and I think they are both so in love with one another. It’s so real and right between them. I think Jef did feel a little insecure about some things and had some doubts and questions, Emily put them to rest though (she even said that when she was making Ricki lunch, she pictured Jef by her side, awwww). I like that Jef can be open with her and communicate with her. Communication and respect for one another are the foundation to any relationship and they have that.
Arie and Emily can’t keep their hands off each other! Holy make out sessions! I’m glad she started asking the harder questions though. You can’t just base everything off of the way you are physically with someone else. I don’t know if Arie’s lifestyle will fit with Emily and Ricki’s. I think that if Emily didn’t have a kid she and Arie would have a better chance of working.
Did you guys cry during their videos? I SURE DID! My goodness, this is by far the best final three guys ever. They all really do care, love and respect Emily. I hate that she had to let any of them go. And I hate even more that it had to be Sean. He is such an amazing guy and I think producers need to think about him being the next bachelor instead of Roberto (oops sorry, I had to put that in there, SURPRISE)! But, Sean handled himself which such class and it showed what a true gentleman he is. My heart still hurts from seeing how devastated he was.
Alright guys, who should she choose, Jef or Arie? We only have to wait a little longer to find out! Now, next Monday, it’s the "Men Tell All." The promo for it looks like there will be a lot of DRAMA (both Ryan AND Kalon will be there). So tune in next Monday night at 7 p.m. right here on KITV4 and don’t forget to chat with me on Twitter at #bachelorettehi!
Week 9 Preview - 7/9/2012
We are down to the FINAL three guys! OMG, I can already tell that this is going to be an INTENSE episode.
We know Emily has a connection and strong feelings for each of the remaining guys. Will she ask all three guys to stay overnight?
Emily starts off this episode with Sean. Even though Sean has pulled out all of the romantic cards, he has yet to say he loves her (Arie and Jef have already admitted they love her). Will he finally say it? He is moving a little slower than the other guys, will this affect Emily’s decision (I hope not)? I feel like Emily fits perfectly with Sean’s family and I do think that he really does care a lot for Emily (come on Sean, say those three words, DO IT TONIGHT)!
Jef and Emily go on a romantic paddle board ride (how fun)! Gosh, talk about couple of the year….I love how they ALWAYS do fun things together. Does Emily see Jef being a father figure to Ricki and are her feelings for Jef as strong as his are for her? Um hello Emily, after the letter he wrote her last week, how can you not think of him as your potential husband?
Arie and Emily clearly have a physical connection, but I think now, even Emily is questioning how Arie would be as a father and how he would fit into her life.
Emily had a special day planned with Arie, the two will be jumping off a catamaran and swimming with dolphins. What will Arie say to Emily in his defense? Is he really ready?
I am dreading this rose ceremony because I like Arie, Sean and Jef and I don’t want to see any of them get them get hurt (insert sad face). There is going to be one broken-hearted bachelor at the end of this and that breaks my heart because they are such great guys. I think that these last three bachelors are the BEST final three in Bachelorette history
So who will she send home? Who will her final two be? Make sure to watch at 7 p.m. right here on KITV and don’t forget I’ll be tweeting throughout the show, so let’s talk, #bachelorettehi!
