Week 5 Recap - 6/14/2012
Emily went through some tough times in London Monday night, but she also strengthened some of her relationships with the remaining bachelors.
I feel like the next couple of weeks are going to be hard for her. I think she is going to fall in love with more than one person (yikes).
I mean, look at the guys she has! She had two one-on-one dates this week (with Sean and Jef) and on the group date, the guys tried to "woo" her with their acting skills by reciting Shakespeare lines (let’s just say they were all pretty AWFUL)!
Emily and Sean have so much in common. I think throughout the next few weeks, their relationship is going to grow stronger and stronger. She said that he makes her feel safe and in any relationship you want to feel like you can completely trust your significant other.
On the conference call last week with Sean, you could hear how much he really cares about Emily. I sense that Monday night’s date is a start to a very happy relationship between the two of them.
I LOVED seeing the guys in tights (YUM, seriously)! They were all pretty bad at acting but I loved that they had fun with it. Well, most of them.
I cringed watching Kalon tell Emily to leave them alone while they were practicing their lines (SO rude). I think that looking back, he will regret saying that. The poor guy just has a big mouth and can’t back anything up.
He got called out by all of the guys later that night too. Now, granted, I’m not exactly sure what was meant by calling Ricky “baggage” but I think all in all he wouldn’t be a good match for Emily. He is not the type of guy that she needs in her life right now. It was his time to go and I think Emily was fed up with him and his attitude. But, I didn’t like how Doug tried to take control of the whole situation. He rubs me the wrong way and I don’t think that he is a genuine guy (sorry)! I think he is hiding something and that he has anger issues. She seems to like him though, so for her benefit, I hope I’m wrong (I don’t always have the best judgement on guys hahaha).
I was so looking forward to Emily’s one-on-one date with Jef. I feel like she has continued to seek after him and that she is intrigued by Jef. These last few weeks I didn’t understand why she was so attracted by him but now I can see it. He really is just a fun, loving, care-free guy. I don’t know if he is ready to be a stepdad or a husband but Jef is the type of guy that just makes you smile. He is charming and someone that you want to be around. He does have a contagious personality and I do think that there is something there between them.
Emily only had to cut one bachelor at the rose ceremony. Alejandro got the axe! He is a good-looking guy but obviously the connection wasn’t there for her. And at this point, if you don’t have a strong connection, you are going home (up next Travis and John, duh).
The Elite Eight and Emily will be going to Croatia next week so make sure to watch next Monday's new episode at 7 p.m. right here on KITV4 and also please don’t forget to follow me on twitter at #bachelorettehi.
