Virginia: Cash For Appliances Rebate Program
Eligible Appliances, Brand And Model Numbers, Recycling And Rebate Information In Virginia

Virginia is offering a rebate program to help residents replace older, inefficient appliances with energy-efficient appliances.
The program is one of 56 State Energy-Efficient Appliance Rebate Programs, popularly known as Cash for Appliances, that are being set up in the United States and six U.S. territories with the help of federal stimulus money.
Virginia will receive about $7.5 million of the nearly $300 million in stimulus funding available nationwide from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Eligible products include:
The program for all products except heat pump water heaters began on April 28. Rebates for heat pump water heaters began on May 28. All rebates will continue to be available until all the funding is claimed.

- Natural Gas Furnace - $250
- Tankless Natural Gas Water Heater - $225
- Clothes Washer - $75
- Refrigerator - $60
- Storage Natural Gas Water Heater - $35
