NCAA Game Summary - Weber State At Cal Poly

San Luis Obispo, CA -- (Sports Network) - Cameron Higgins threw for 399 yards and a pair of touchdowns, pacing Weber State to a 49-35 win over Cal Poly in the first round of the FCS playoffs. Trevyn Smith ran for 137 yards and two touchdowns for the Wildcats (10-3), who will play Big Sky Conference rival Montana next Saturday in Missoula. Higgins connected on 21-of-33 passes, and Tim Toone caught 10 balls for 199 yards and a touchdown. Jonathan Dally connected on 11-of-30 passes for 185 yards and a pair of touchdowns, but was picked off four times for Cal Poly (8-3). He also rushed 23 times for 177 yards and two scores. Ramses Barden had six receptions for 108 yards and a pair of TDs. Backup quarterback Brendon Doyle threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Cody Nakamura for the lone third quarter score and a 35-21 WSU lead. Dally's five- yard connection to Barden with 3:08 left had Cal Poly within 42-35, but the Mustangs failed to recover the onsides kick. Justin White's 21-yard TD run sealed Weber State's win. It was a power-packed offensive showing with Weber State rolling up 564 yards to 548 for Cal Poly.
