NCAA Game Summary - Siena At Temple

Philadelphia, PA -- (Sports Network) - Juan Fernandez scored 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor to help the Temple Owls squeak by the Siena Saints by a 73-69 final in non-conference action. Ryan Brooks had 17 points for Temple (2-1), which got 16 points from Ramone Moore off the bench. As for Michael Eric, he provided 12 points from his center position. Alex Franklin netted 22 points in the loss for Siena (2-1). Clarence Jackson posted 17 points, and Edwin Ubiles contributed 10 points for the Saints. Siena shot 51.6 percent from the floor in the first half while limiting Temple to 38.2 percent efficiency. At intermission, the Saints owned a 36-30 advantage. The Owls caught fire in the second half, as they nailed 18-of-27 shots from the field to claim the victory. Temple was fortunate to win the game despite a 12-5 deficit in points from the foul line.
