Los Angeles, CA -- (Sports Network) - Nick Hansen had 16 points as the Weber State Wildcats beat the Prairie View Panthers, 78-68, to take third place in the Los Angeles regional of the 2K Sports Classic.

Kyle Bullinger added 14 points and five rebounds, Daviin Davis had 13 points and five boards and Kellen McCoy finished with 12 points for the Wildcats (1-1), who lost to Miami-Ohio on Wednesday.

Chris Jones scored 17 points while Derek Johnson added 11 points and seven boards for the Panthers(0-2), who were beaten by UCLA on Wednesday.

Prairie View held a seven-point lead after the first 20 minutes, but with the Wildcats holding a slim lead in the second half, Bullinger and Davis scored the team's final 13 points, including eight consecutive free throws to pull away for the win.
