NCAA Game Summary - U-C-F Vs. Niagara

(Sports Network) - Demetrius Williamson scored a game-high 13 points, as the Niagara Purple Eagles notched a 63-46 win over the UCF Knights in the third round of the Glenn Wilkes Classic at the Ocean Center.

Anthony Nelson added 11 points and Bilal Benn scored 10 in helping Niagara (3-1) to a third straight win.

A.J. Tyler paced UCF (3-1) with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, although he was the only Knights player in double figures.

The Purple Eagles jumped out to a 30-21 halftime lead despite shooting only 33.3 percent from the field and 0-for-10 from beyond the arc. In that opening half, they enjoyed a 12-4 scoring edge from the foul line while holding UCF to 26.7-percent shooting from the floor.

Niagara heated up from outside in the second stanza, connecting on 7-of-15 three-pointers to lead by as many as 21 before the final buzzer.

The Knights committed 23 turnovers for the game, which yielded a 20-9 advantage for Niagara in points off turnovers.
