NCAA Game Summary - Montana State At Nevada

Reno, NV -- (Sports Network) - Luke Babbitt poured in a game-high 26 points to lead the Nevada Wolf Pack to a 75-61 victory over the Montana State Bobcats in a non-conference battle at Lawlor Events Center. Armon Johnson added 16 points for Nevada (1-0), while Brandon Fields and Ray Kraemer contributed 14 and 10 points, respectively, in the win. Erik Rush netted 13 points for Montana State (0-1), while Cody Anderson and Bryan Louff chipped in with 10 points apiece in the losing effort. The Wolf Pack went into the break with a commanding 50-31 lead thanks to their sizzling 72.0 percent shooting effort from the field, which included a 7-of-11 clip from behind the arc. Nevada held the Bobcats to a mere 37.5 percent shooting effort from the floor in the second stanza and went on to win by a 14-point margin. The Wolf Pack shot 52.8 percent in the contest and defensively the team forced Montana State into 20 turnovers.
