POSTED: 5:38 pm HST November 29, 2006

(Sports Network) - Garrett Temple scored 17 points off the bench as 10th-ranked LSU crushed McNeese State, 91-57.

Tasmin Mitchell had 16 points while Glen Davis scored 15, going 9-of-11 from the free throw line for the Tigers (3-1), who rebounded from their first setback of the season, a 57-53 loss to Wichita State on Saturday.

Aldrynn Wardell led the Cowboys (2-5) with 16 points and John Ford added 13.

Holding an early 11-6 lead, Alex Farrer drained a three pointer to ignite a 12-0 run that gave the Tigers a 23-6 lead with midway through the first half.

LSU took a 38-22 lead into the break and the Tigers went on a 10-0 spurt early in the second half that effectively put the game away.

After Darnell Lazare's field goal, Davis converted a three point play and Mitchell followed with trey. Davis then dropped in two from the charity stripe to cap the run as LSU went into cruise control the rest of the way.
