NCAA Game Summary - Louisiana Tech At Idaho

Moscow, ID -- (Sports Network) - Trevor Morris scored 14 points to lead the Idaho Vandals to a 66-58 victory over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in Western Athletic Conference play. Marvin Jefferson and Mac Hopson added 13 points apiece for Idaho (15-14, 8-7 WAC), and Hopson also dished out six assists. Kyle Gibson poured in 25 points in the loss for Louisiana Tech (14-17, 6-10), but he managed only one assist against eight turnovers. The Bulldogs also got 10 points from Magnum Rolle. Both teams shot 40 percent from the floor in the fist half, and Louisiana Tech owned a 26-25 lead at intermission. Over the final 20 minutes, the Vandals made good on 12-of-24 field goal attempts and 15-of-22 free throws to seal the victory. A 37-27 rebounding advantage and 17 forced turnovers helped Idaho to overcome its rather high total of 18 giveaways.
