Ames, IA -- (Sports Network) - Craig Brackins recorded 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Iowa State Cyclones to a 78-76 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Big 12 Conference actin at Hilton Coliseum.

Bryan Petersen shot 6-of-11 from beyond the arc and finished with 20 points and six assist for the Cyclones (15-16, 4-12 Big 12). Diante Garrett added 17 points with six assists in the win.

John Roberson scored a game-high 23 points and finished with eight rebounds and five assists for the Red Raiders (13-18, 3-13), who remain winless on the road at 0-11. Mike Singletary tallied 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Nick Okorie also had 15 points in the loss.

The Cyclones shot 51.7 percent from the field, including 6-of-10 from long range, to take a 42-37 lead into the break.

In the final 20 minutes, the Red Raiders shot 42.4 percent from the field, while the Cyclones offense went cold, to cut the deficit. However, the Cyclones hit 10-of-12 from the charity stripe, including three free throws by Garrett with 36 seconds remaining to seal the two-point win.

In the contest, the Cyclones converted on 16-of-20 chances from the charity stripe.
