Richmond, VA -- (Sports Network) - Damian Hollis pulled down 16 rebounds and added 15 points to lead the George Washington Colonials to a 66-57 victory over the Richmond Spiders in an Atlantic 10 clash at Robins Center. Hollis had an all-around stellar night in every statistical category. He dished off four assists, recorded two blocks and even picked up a steal. Travis King and Rob Diggs both contributed with 13 points for the Colonials (10-16, 4-10 A-10) in the win. David Gonzalvez led the attack for Richmond (15-14, 7-7), scoring 18 points and pulling down seven boards. He also tallied three steals. Kevin Anderson chipped in with 11 points. George Washington led 27-20 at the break, shooting 41.7 percent from the floor. The Spiders only hit 24.1 percent of their first-half field-goal attempts. In the second half, the Colonials stepped up their offense, draining 52 percent of their field goal attempts. They also hit 3-of-5 from beyond the arc to seal the nine-point victory. The Spiders only hit 26.5 percent from the floor and 8-of-30 from beyond the arc in the game.
