NCAA Game Summary - Eastern Illinois At Austin Peay

Clarksville, TN -- (Sports Network) - Kyle Duncan scored 16 points to lead the second-seeded Austin Peay Governors to a 57-54 triumph over the seventh-seeded Eastern Illinois Panthers in the quarterfinal round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. Drake Reed posted 15 points for Austin Peay (18-12), which will battle fourth- seeded Murray State in Friday's semifinal round. The Governors also got 14 points and nine rebounds from Wes Channels. Romain Martin tallied 20 points in defeat for Eastern Illinois (12-18), while teammate Billy Parrish pitched in 10 points. Eastern Illinois held a 31-27 lead at intermission after shooting 50 percent from the floor in the first half. The Governors were able to fight back in the second half with great defense, as they limited the Panthers to 8-of-28 shooting from the field over the final 20 minutes. Austin Peay earned a 37-33 rebounding edge in the tilt and scored three more points from the foul line than Eastern Illinois.
