San Luis Obispo, CA -- (Sports Network) - Konner Veteto's double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds led the way for UC Riverside, as the Highlanders grabbed a 76-69 victory over the Cal Poly Mustangs in Big West Conference action at Mott Gym.

Rudy Meo also posted 13 points for UCR (17-12, 8-8 BWC), while Kyle Austin tallied 11 points.

Shawn Lewis netted 23 points and collected nine rebounds for Cal Poly (7-21, 3-13), while Justin Brown and Lorenzo Keeler chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Cal Poly went into the break with a 33-31 lead, despite shooting a mediocre 41.4 percent from the floor in the first half.

The Highlanders stormed back in the second frame, shooting 63.6 percent from the floor, en route to the seven-point win.

Riverside's bench poured in 42 points in the contest, while Cal Poly's reserves posted just 16 points.
