Santa Barbara, CA -- (Sports Network) - James Nunnally scored 15 points to lead the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos to a 66-53 decision over the UC Riverside Highlanders in a Big West Conference battle.

D.J. Posley posted 11 points for UC Santa Barbara (14-14, 7-8 BWC), which got 10 rebounds from Chris Devine.

Kyle Austin scored 14 points in defeat for UC Riverside (16-12, 7-8), while teammate Javon Borum added 13 points.

UC Santa Barbara led 42-24 at intermission after shooting 57.7 percent from the floor in the first half.

The Gauchos cooled off significantly in the second half, but the large halftime lead proved to be more than enough.

UC Santa Barbara shot 10-of-20 from three-point range in the contest.
