NCAA Game Summary - Boston College Vs. South Dakota State

St. Thomas, Virgin Islands -- (Sports Network) - Joe Trapani dropped in a game- high 21 points and the Boston College Eagles handled the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, 75-58, as part of the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas. Trapani hit on 5-of-6 shots from long range and grabbed seven boards for the Eagles (3-1), who lost to Saint Joseph's in the first round on Friday. Biko Paris added 16 points and five assists, while Corey Raji and Josh Southern each had 12 points. Anthony Cordova led the way for SDSU (2-2) with 18 points and seven rebounds. Kai Williams posted 11 points, and Nate Wolters and Garrett Callahan each scored 10 points. BC opened the game with a 6-0 spurt and then used an 11-0 run to open a 37-28 halftime lead. In the second half, the Eagles made 56.0 percent of attempts from the floor and 6-of-11 from downtown, as they earned the 17-point win. BC was effective from long range, as it hit on 11-of-20 opportunities for the game.
