Colorado Springs, CO -- (Sports Network) - Evan Washington scored a team-best 18 points to lead the Air Force Falcons to a 95-77 win over the Dickinson State Blue Hawks in the opening round of the Reggie Minton Air Force Classic. Washington made all six of his field goal attempts and also handed out six assists for the Falcons (2-0), while Grant Parker tacked on 15 points as he too made a perfect 6-of-6 from the floor. Tom Fow came off the bench to tally 14 points and eight rebounds, followed by Sammy Schafer with 10 points. The Blue Hawks (1-6) were paced by Nate Lebsock who made good on all 10 of his free-throw chances and finished with a game-high 26 points, while Ryan Ernst responded with 19 points off the bench. Air Force ran away with the lead in the first half, shooting 61.3 percent from the floor to claim a 50-33 advantage at the break. In the second half the Falcons hit on 52.2 percent from the field and 18-of-26 at the charity stripe, en route to the 18-point win. Dickinson State managed to make good on 12-of-27 from three-point range, but that still wasn't enough for the team to offset 17 turnovers.
