Anaheim, CA -- (Sports Network) - James Nunnally scored 15 points to lead the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos to a 73-64 victory over the Cal State Fullerton Titans in the quarterfinal round of the Big West Conference Tournament.

Chris Devine added 14 points for fourth-seeded UC Santa Barbara (16-14), which will take on top-seeded Cal State Northridge in Friday's semifinal round.

Josh Akognon poured in 23 points in the loss for seventh-seeded Cal State Fullerton (15-17), which got 15 points and six assists from Jacques Streeter.

UC Santa Barbara played tremendous defense in the first half, limiting Cal State Fullerton to 25 percent shooting from the floor to take a 26-20 lead into the break.

Over the final 20 minutes, the Gauchos nailed 63.2 percent of their shots from the floor to claim the victory.

Nunnally hit all three of his field goal attempts and was 8-of-8 from the foul line in the win for UC Santa Barbara, which finished 26-of-34 from the charity stripe.
