the Kona Coast. West Hawaii Today quotes a state biologist who says that sailboat that ran aground near the Old Kona Airport last month did not damage any coral. The Seaquell ran aground on May 18th. Two people on board suffered minor cuts and bruises. The Coast Guard says the boat was sailing to Hawaii from Mexico, but a glitch in the G- P-S system directed the Seaquell to the shoreline where it grounded.
