The state of Florida is increasing its efforts to stop child abuse.
The Department of Children and Families has launched a new campaign called "Don't Miss the Signs." It's a media blitz that includes television commercials, posters and informational surveys.
The goal is to educate the public on how to recognize the signs of child abuse, things like frequent bruises, increased absences at school or a child who withdraws from social situations.
You can see the campaign at dontmissthesigns.org.
