Report: Man held on $1,001.29 bond after putting $1.29 Honey Bun down his pants

PALM SPRINGS, Fla. -

A man was arrested and accused of walking into a convenience store and stuffing a $1.29 Honey Bun down his pants, according to a report.

Brandon Phillips, 18, is being held at the Brevard County Jail on $1,001.29 bond.

According to a report on FloridaToday.com, Phillips walked into a 7-11 store in Palm Springs and stuffed the pastry into his sweatpants, then fled on a bicycle when a manager confronted him outside the store.

Officers weren't far away when they got the call, and a police dog helped them track Phillips down in a wooded area down the road, FloridaToday.com reported.

Phillips faces several misdemeanor charges.
