FHP: Dozens injured in crash caused by pig
Chain-reaction crash results after animal found in middle of road
The Florida Highway Patrol said a pig is responsible for causing a series of car accidents in Collier County and injuring nearly a dozen people.
The FHP report said 24-year-old Gabriela Resendiz struck a pig Saturday night that was in the middle of the road. Several other cars collided with her vehicle, injuring nearly a dozen other drivers and passengers.

Resendiz was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Two others, including an infant, also suffered serious injuries. The FHP report said the other injuries were minor.
Charges were not immediately filed. FHP has not said where the pig came from.
