Christopher Fink is accused of stealing manhole covers and then trying to sell them for scrap.
A central Florida man accused of stealing manhole covers is now in custody.
Polk County Sheriff's Office deputies said they arrested Christopher Fink in Haines City on Thursday evening.
Detectives said Fink, 40, stole 166 manhole covers earlier this month and then attempted to sell them for scrap.
Fink faces felony charges of grand theft, dealing in stolen property and giving false verification to a secondhand metal dealer.
