$25 million in unclaimed property up for grabs in Florida

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -

The state of Florida has $25 million worth of unclaimed insurance benefits, and it's looking to find who all that money belongs to.

The money comes from a settlement with American International Group.

State officials said there are more than 61,000 unclaimed accounts.

Floridians can search for unclaimed property by visiting FLTreasureHunt.org or by calling 888-258-2253.
