Shayne Enright
In 2004, veteran reporter Keoki Kerr took me in as an intern. Since then the years have flown by.
From a naïve intern to an associated producer to the assignment desk, the transitions were challenging but today I can say also rewarding. As a general assignment reporter, I take on stories that vary from one spectrum to another. I feel it is a huge responsibility to tell the stories of Hawaii’s residents as accurately and fairly as possible. I have met wonderful people across the state and have been welcomed into many homes.
I am a Kailua girl, who attended Maryknoll High School and University of Hawaii at Manoa.
In my time away from the newsroom, I attempt to take on triathlons (though it isn’t always pretty). I also attempt Koko Head Crater trail, the more than 1,000 stair climb.
