Cam admits, she’s a weather nerd.

As the morning weather anchor/reporter at KITV she gets to combine her two passions: meteorology and reporting!

She started at KITV as the weekend weather anchor.

Cam came to KITV from our sister station WMTW in Portland, ME.

As a reporter and fill-in anchor she was apart of the Edward R. Murrow and Emmy Award winning News 8 team.

While in Maine she covered several stories which garnered national attention including the story of missing toddler Ayla Reynolds, Tropical Storm Irene and the all-too-common Maine blizzards.

Prior to WMTW, she anchored in Abilene, TX and reported in Austin, TX.

In addition to news, Cam is extremely passionate about weather and forecasting.

Cam is working toward her Certificate of Meteorology and Geosciences degree at Mississippi State University.

She also has a degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Texas. Cam is an active member of the Asian American Journalists Association.
